Lay the shirt flat. Measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other, then double it. That is the full chest.
From the highest point of the shoulder seam, straight down to the bottom hem.
Measure across the waistband, relaxed and not stretched, then double it.
From the top of the waistband straight down the side to the hem.
